Photography/Coffee Table Book

This book is what I personally label as a coffee table book, in fact that is where my book has been since it arrived for my review.  I had it laid on the ottoman, that we use as a coffee table, I have picked it up numerous times and flipped through it reading the quotes and scriptures that are included in the pages of this lovely book.  What made this book so enjoyable was the beautiful photography.  The granddaughter and great granddaughter of the famous and world reknown silversmith, Alan Addler, the authors were used to being exposed to beautiful designs in the silver Alan created for many people, they both strive to bring that beauty to all the homes they have designed.  I enjoyed the photos greatly, and especially the break down of the book, the chapters separated by room designs.  I particularly enjoyed the holiday section since I received this book during the Christmas season.  Interspersed with quotes from famous people, including scriptures, and notes about the design of the rooms pictured a very enjoyable book.  151 pages  US $40.00 4 stars.
