Life in Boring Indiana, is definitely not boring at the moment.  Laura Berry and her fiesty neighbor Babe finds another neighbor dead on her couch.  And if that was not enough drama for the little sleepy suburban town, Laura seems to find herself in the middle of all kinds of trouble.  She gets a letter threatening her life and her husband also, but she keeps trying to find out what happened to her neighbor Candace.  No one deserves to be murdered, not even Candace.  An explosion in Laura's storage shed, an electronic bug, vandalism at her husband's pharmacy, and being pushed into the path of racing lawnmowers, does not deter Laura from trying to solve this mystery.
This book was a bit different from Christy's other books, there was a bit of tongue in cheek humor, plays on words and names, and the characters were hilarious, and a bit too close for comfort.  They could have been your's or my neighbors.  A great story you will not want to put down, a mystery that will keep you guessing to the end of the book!!  288 pages US $14.95  4 stars.
