Trust is a big issue for Casey Alexander, abandoned by her father, and left by her mother's death, and now facing the disappearance and suspected suicide of her dear Aunt Liddy, Casey has a hard time trusting the people around her.
Convinced her aunt did not commit suicide, Casey starts digging into the mystery, just as her favorite fictional detective Brandy Purcell would have done. But Casey is stirring up age old mysteries that are proving dangerous for her. Love and attraction join the trust issue lineup as Casey finds herself attracted to one of her suspects.
A tangled web slowly unwinds as Casey working with her new friend Monah and Luke, the attractive former suspect. Heartbreaking details come to light that takes all the faith, that Casey and Luke can muster. But their faith see them through and the mystery is solved.
This book is exciting, and there is a wonderful surprise ending (don't read the end first). I could not put the book down until I finished it, it definitely deserves a 5 star rating. 241 pages 6.95 US
