I really wanted to love this book. I enjoy Kim Vogel Sawyer's writing and was excited to be part of this tour. This was one of those books that was well written, but it didn't catch my interest. I had very apathetic feelings toward most of the characters, they didn't spark my interest. Briley was too much and Steven was not enough. I do want to preface my thoughts with the fact that I did not read the first book in this series, which may be why I didn't connect with the story. All that being said I will still read Kim's books because I enjoy her writing. 3 stars from this reviewer.
