Review | The Trouble with Cowboys

My review:

Annie Wilkerson is not sure how she can make ends meet, her sister Sierra has gotten fired from another job, and now Annie finds herself having to write a new advice column.  Having answered questions about horse training, she is in over her head when the magazine cancels the horse training column and adds a lovelorn advice column.  How can Annie answer questions about love when she has never been in love herself?  Also keeping Dylan Taylor away seems to be a full time job, but the thought to ask him to help with the advice column, is probably not a good way to keep him at bay.  Trying to take care of her sister, her nephew, her business and fight off the unwanted attentions from Dylan Taylor is just about more than Annie can handle. 
What I liked about this book:  I love Denise's writing, I enjoy her books, and this was no exception.  Annie has such a loving nature and knows that she needs to take care of her family, just like her grandfather would want her to, but the pressure is really too much for such a young woman to handle, but she does her best and with grace.  
What I did not like: I really wanted to smack Dylan everytime he referred to Annie as a filly, in his thoughts, she is not a horse! I also did not like John Oakley, he was not the man for Annie!  
Conclusion:  True to Denise Hunter style, this book will not disappoint!  You will enjoy following the story as Annie learns who she is and who she cannot be. She cannot be her sister's keeper.  A great book!  272 pages US 12.99 5 stars
