My Review:
Sandy Lincoln has found herself in the position no young woman dreams for her life, with a teenage pregnancy. Taking the time to sort the options, she realizes she cannot have an abortion, which causes her boyfriend to leave her and leaves her to make the final decisions about how to handle this life changing issue. Moving to Atlanta with her aunt and placing the baby for adoption is her choice. On her first trip to Atlanta a chance encounter with a strange woman, convinces Sandy she is having twin sons and they must be place seperately. Now thirty years later Sandy is coming face to face with those decisions as she deals with a young student who is pregnant. This story was fascinating, and was reminscent of the Biblical story of Rebekah, the mother of Jacob and Esau. Will the ending of Sandy's story end as the old woman said, in her warning to Sandy, will one twin die if they ever meet?
A great story, a bit longer than I usually read, but was able to keep my attention. This is the first book I have read from this author, and look forward to reading other books by him.
