Kat Jennings lives in Worth Manor, with her once famous grandmother Lenora Worth. Lenora was a movie star back in the days, but unfortunately the onset of Alzheimers has Lenora living in the past, which is sometimes an embarrassment for Kat, but she is fiercely protective of her grandmother.
Kat is a leading lady in her own rights. The star of a sit com, called Stars Collide, she and her onstage co-star Scott Murphy are in love on the show, and their own personal lives are seeming to follow that parallel.
Lenora confuses a on stage declaration of love and proposal for the real thing, and sparks are flying. She seems to be telling anyone and everyone about the proposal. Can Scott and Kat keep their budding romance out of the eyes of the public? Will the public attention squash, what bit of feelings they have towards each other?
A cute story that flows together wonderfully. The references to actors/actresses, movie lines and old movies is a neat part of the book, especially for any fans of classic old movies. This is a great book, guaranteed to keep you entertained. 315 pages US $14.99 4 stars.
