Are you a parent living in a modern world that runs you ragged, wondering how in the world will you teach your children good values?  Living in a world where character is not stressed, where even our leadership fails in areas of integrity, is enough to make a parent wonder how will this work?

Melissa Trevathan and Sissy Goff, have given us a book that will instruct you on how to do exactly that.  Both experienced in counseling, they have combined their efforts to bring us a book explaining how to teach your child character traits that are important to you.  Integrity, kindness, manners, compassion, forgiveness, responsibility, just to name a few of the issues covered in this book.

Each chapter is broken into sections that explain the character discussed, the authors share personal stories, and then give instruction on how to teach your child that character, including a section at the end of each chapter called  "A Sunday Drive" with practical suggestions to reinforce the character trait in your child's life and in your life.  An easy to read book, this is one you will want to include in your parenting library.  315 pages $14.99 3 stars.
