"The thirty-day challenge in this book is about daring to walk further away from self and move closer to God and his wisdom, truth, and power."
"Trusting God is a spiritual lifestyle to be learned."
"I refuse to be defined by my circumstances."
The above quotes are some of the things in this book that popped out at me, just as I was reading the introduction. What is The Faith Dare? It is a book to bring your life into spiritual awareness. To abstain (or fast as she refers to it) from your selfish desires and to fill those empty spots with Godly things. The author has broken the book into a thirty-day challege. Each day's challege will contain
- Today's Praise/Prayer
- Today's Truth
- Today's Dare
- Journal
- Today's Prayer
- Today I Believe
Come on take it on!! Take THE FAITH DARE!
I love books like this, when they come along to review I quickly read the introductions and the instructions and write my review, and then I begin the books, they totally are great tools to have! I use them for my personal devo time, and often set them aside to use in group settings. This book is definitely a book I will be keeping and perusing more. 230 pages $12.99 US 4 stars
