A PJ Sugar Novel
Susan May Warren
2009
Fiction/General

Reviewed by Cindy Loven

PJ Sugar has had so many jobs, she nearly cannot keep up with them all, and she has lived in many places in the ten years since she left Kellogg, Minnesota. But now PJ has come back to Kellogg. She has to figure out who she is, and why she keeps running from herself.
But first she must take care of her nephew Davy while her sister Connie is on vacation, and she finds herself smack dab in the middle of a mess. Her best friend Trudi, is in trouble, Trudi's husband has been charged with murder and PJ is positive he is innocent. So positive she takes matters into her own hands. Greatly angering Boone, her highschool sweetheart, and the one person who still makes her heart beat funny.
This book will have you shaking your head at just how many mishaps PJ Sugar can find herself in, it will also make you wipe the tears away as PJ takes a long hard look at herself. Perhaps you will even see a bit of yourself in PJ Sugar.
