Christian Fiction

We are back in Bedford, with Charlotte Stevenson and her family.  Charlotte and the ladies of the church are working on cleaning out the basement, and discover a newspaper clipping, that brings up lots of old feelings of hurt.  Charlotte's great grandfather had been accused, tried and found guilty of stealing the church savings in 1879 for the building of the church, the same church she attends now. Is it her imagination or are the ladies of the church and the people in town treating her differently?
Charlotte is determined that she is going to find some way to clear her family's name, and thus begins a trip back in history.  Her great grandmother's journal and Bible are found, and she is convinced even more that her great grandfather was innocent.  But would she be able to prove that?
Her grandchildren become involved in her search, with Christopher wanting to write a newspaper article about it, Emily is finding her school project is tying in with the family history.  Dana and Pete in the middle of planning their wedding also become involved in the historical search through the journal and pictures from the library.  Sam has a new friend that Charlotte and Bob just are not sure about, in fact Sam even begins to wonder if everything is on the up and up.
Tricia Goyer and Guideposts have once again brought us a wonderful story in the Home to Heather Creek Series.  DON'T MISS this book.  244 pages 4 and half stars.
