Beth Hertzler is in mourning, still. It has passed the time that mourning should end, but she just cannot get past her grief. She has a secret that is paralyzing her. She cannot go forward with her life.
As a buyer and representative of Amish craftsmen and women, Beth is very busy with life. As a single young woman, she pitches in and helps anywhere and everywhere her family needs her to. But her family is worried about her. Her Aunt Lizzy, who owns the store Beth works in, is scared for her niece. Scared that Beth will block out any chance for love in her life, and discover , too late that being alone is not good.
Finally pushed into making a buying trip, that overdue, Beth discovers a new artisan in Ohio. His work brings her to life. Aunt Lizzy is so excited about the spark she sees in Beth, that she does something she should have never attempted.
Jonah Kinsinger is a young man, who is old beyond his years. Injured in a sleigh accident as a young teen, he has overcome many physical and emotional issues. He pours himself into his carvings. He, however is not sure he is interested in carving on a big scale, to sell his art.
Follow along in this wonderfully written book by Cindy Woodsmall and discover if Beth can overcome her grief. Can she move on in life? Be surprised as Lizzy finds herself in deep water and treading paths she has never gone before. Where will Jonah fit into this?
