This author, Pastor Will Davis Jr. has written a life changing book. Pray Big for Your Marriage, is perhaps the most valuable tool, other than the Bible and prayer, that a couple could possess. My thought as I read this book, is that it should be required reading for all engaged couples, all married couples, and even all divorced couples.
This book has the potential, if the concepts are applied, to cut the divorce rate in America! It also has to potential to change our nation. WOW, I know you may be thinking that is far fetched, but the concepts in Mr Davis's book are life changing, disciplined ideas.
Each chapter deals with a different area of your marriage to pray for, it teaches us to pray “pinpoint” prayers that zero in on our marriage issues, instead of tossing prayers into the heavenlies haphazardly, as we often do. Each chapter ends with verses to pray, and a specific pinpoint prayer. If a couple prayed ONLY the verses and the pinpoint prayers in the book, for a month, their marriages would be transformed. But it goes beyond that, the author encourages us, to search the Scripture for ourselves to find verses that we can pray for our specific situations.
To say I enjoyed this book would be a understatement, this book has changed my way of thinking about prayer and about marriage. This book will have an impact on anyone who reads it. I give this book 5 stars! 174 pages $12.99 US
