Christmas Books for Kids Reviews

Here we go, a few reviews on some cute Christmas stories.

The Berenstain Bears The Very First Christmas
My Thoughts:
I loved this book. I love the Berenstain books and this one was very Scripturally sound. It brought the wise men after the baby was older and portrayed that pictorially also. Often stories try to shove it all together as one event, so I was pleased to see it portrayed as Scripture records the events. The artwork is beautiful as always. Loved the spinning angels. Great book! 5 stars from this reviewer. This book was provided for review purposes only, no payment was received for this review.

The Legend of the Christmas Cookie
Sharing the True Meaning of Christmas
Another wonderful Christmas story to share with your little ones.I had never heard this tale about Christmas cookies and found it very interesting. The woodcarver and his family found a way, to share the story of Christ's birth, even on limited funds, and during hard times. It goes to show us all that sharing truth is as easy as baking cookies for others. Find a project this Christmas to share with your children, giving them the chance to learn the joy of giving back. 4.5 stars for this wonderful story. Beautiful artwork. Goodnight Manger
I adored this book. It is written from Mary's point of view. The frustrations she must have faced trying to get a baby to sleep, in a noisy stable. I thought it was adorable. Getting a baby to sleep is serious work for a mommy, and it was endearing to think that Mary faced those frustrations also. I love rhyming stories so that was the icing on the cake so to speak. And the artwork was so vivid and colorful. Very eye catching for little ones. A wonderful book, great for any little one. 5 stars from this reviewer.
