What a great book! I truly enjoyed this story, perhaps as much as any I have read this summer. It kept me up late trying to finish it. Beth Vogt is very good at drawing me into her stories. I have to say one of my favorite parts of the story was the side story of Mr. and Mrs. Wright. It felt like a truly deep character development, having Vanessa care about what happened to them, dropping in for the visit, making sure they were safe during the hurricane and helping clean up afterward.
