This was such a different Amish story, I just am at a bit of a loss, of how to describe how I feel about the story. So I will plunge in, at first I was heartbroken. Jacob is so deep in his grief and already questioning his trip to Pinecraft, and then the accident to Rebecca just broke my heart, because it is another thing that weighs him down. Secondly I loved and followed with great interest the story of Natalie, and her discovery of her Amish roots. I loved her character Bubbles and was surprised to find a clown in an Amish story. Overall this was a great book, easy to read and made you want more. 4 stars from this reviewer.
