Surprise for Lily (The Adventures of Lily Lapp) REVIEW

My thoughts:
This was my favorite of the Lily books.  I adored this book, there was so much to enjoy about it. Lily is a bit older and not as childish.  While she was sweet and cute younger, her age often showed in the earlier stories. I love that she is still very naive and innocent.  I hope she never looses that quality, in these stories.  I love Harvey, he is a card, and he and Aaron combined just about do poor Lily in.  It will be interesting to see how she reacts when she realizes they are crushing on her.  (If it is ever shared in a Lily story) This story is sweet and is definitely a 5 star story.  This book was provided for review purposes only and no payment was received for my honest review of this book.  All opinions are my own.

Available from your favorite seller of Revell Books, a division of Baker Publishing Group.

About the Book:
Change is brewing for Lily Lapp. Her favorite cousin, Hannah, moves away and Harvey Hershberger, a boy with a talent for trouble, moves right in. Harvey's antics stir up the entire schoolhouse, and his fondness for Lily gets under Aaron Yoder's skin. Add in a mischievous dog rescued by Lily's brother, an old Shawnee Indian and a mother bear, and a secret Lily's mother is keeping, and you've got a recipe for laughter, love, and big surprises.

Girls ages 8 to 12 will love navigating the changes in Lily's world with her in this final book in the sweetly simple Adventures of Lily Lapp series.

  1. I loved reading the first two Lily books to my students, and they really enjoyed them as well. Still don't have this one. Thanks for the review!
