REVIEW | Submerged by Dani Pettrey

Book One Alaskan Courage
2012
Bethany House
Fiction/Romantic Suspense
Gotta say WOW on this one!! I have never read anything from this author before, but what an awesome book, cannot wait for book two in this series!!
The McKenna family works together, operating an outdoor adventure business, but they are also dive instructors and do dive work for plane crashes and other rescue operations, in their hometown of Yancey Alaska.  One big family, four siblings all working together as a unit.  They also enjoy playing together, nothing is better than racing dune buggies on the beach for this group.
Bailey Craig had vowed to never return to Yancey, her teen years there had been horrific, most spent in a drunken haze.  Now she has gotten her life on tract and has a doctorate in Russian History.  The death of her beloved Aunt Agnes forces her return to Yancey.   After she returns it soon becomes obvious that their is still an attraction between her and Cole McKenna.  She feels that she has no right to have a "happy ever after life" and fights that attraction.
They will be thrown together as they come to realize that something is very wrong in their little town.  A dead girl found with a scuba tank from the McKenna's business sets off an investigation that will trace to Russia.
A spell binding mystery, full of suspense and a great story that will pull you in!  I loved it, and easily give this book a 5 star rating!! 310 pages US $14.99 5 stars
