Callie, a researcher for the philanthropist group the J.O.S.H.U.A. Foundation, has been busy. She is looking forward to getting home and spending time with her dog, and rowing in her canoe. However her boss Tom has a special errand for her. An errand that really does NOT want to do, but because he promises her it will just mean a trip to Philadelphia, deliver a check and straight back home, she agrees. He was wrong! What was supposed to be a simple errand to an old friend of Toms, turns into a murder investigation. Tom's friend Wendall is murdered in his office by a lethal dose of insulin, and now Tom wants her to stay and investigate. She is reticent about doing so, but agrees because after all this is Tom.
I enjoyed this book so much, it was very good. Fast paced with a great storyline, I definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves a good quick mystery. A wonderful book! 4 stars 337 pages. US $13.99
