The first thing I have to say about this book is "I LOVED IT!!"  This is the first Donita K. Paul book that I have read and it was such a fun story.
You will feel like you know these people as they struggle to come out of their shell and see past their own lives.  Cora, has noticed her co-worker Simon, but was totally shocked to see him in the quirky bookstore she found online.  Warner, Werner and Wizbotterdad's bookstore is like none other, it is nearly as if the proprieter can read her mind and knows exactly what she needs.  When she arrives home she is shocked to find a ticket to a Christmas ball.
Cora knows that while it would be a wonderful thing to go to, she really doesn't want to open herself up to rejection and to being alone at a ball.  Imagine her surprise as her co-worker Simon finds a ticket to the same ball, and his sister, who is special in her own way, is so excited to go that he decides to take his sister, and also invites Cora to be his date too.
Lots of things happen to keep her from this magical ball, but perhaps her destiny is hanging in the balance.  A wonderfully magical Christmas story you will not want to miss!!  Easy to read, a lovely story!226 pages $14.99 US 5 stars.
