Emma Rae Travis, is a baker extraordinaire, she creates masterpieces in cakes.  Only she really doesn't know  how great they are, because she only usually takes a small taste, due to type one diabetes.  That however does not stop her from creating new and better cakes.
A new owner has bought a local Atlanta hotel and is turning it into a wedding paradise and he hires Emma and her trusty assistant Fiona to come on board.  There is an attraction between Emma and her new boss, Jackson Drake, but he is still in love with his wife who passed away.  In fact this hotel was her passion and her dream and he is fulfilling it in her memory.
A parade of funny Southern belles throughout this story, keeps it interesting and hilarious even at times, between the "hens" Jackson's sisters and Emma's mother and her Aunt Sophie, there is so much southern charm in this story it oozes.  A truly delightful story that you will not want to miss. Sandra Bricker satisfies again with her wonderful writing and story telling.  I greatly enjoyed this book, and was pleased at her faith content in the story, and also pleased that the Southern belles did not taint the story.   US $13.99 4 stars
