Instead of a review we were asked to share some of our favorite proverbs from the book.
Here are a few of mine

Under the time chapter "Do more of less."
Under the faith chapter "Bibles that are coming apart usually belong to people who are not."
Under the children and family chapter "Teaching children to count is fine, but teaching them what counts is better."

Those are just a few of my favorites in this small little book full of wonderful words of wisdom.  Also we were asked to share a family proverb or saying.
My grandfather who was a minister for over 50 years often used this in his messages.  "I said all that to say this."  It is funny I often here my daddy and my uncles and even my husband who are all ministers use it too.  LOL must be a preacher thing!!

I have a copy of Amish Proverbs to give away.  Leave a comment with one of your own family proverbs on this post for a chance to win, I will draw for a winner on August 31st.

This book is available from your favorite seller of Revell books.
This book was provided for review purposes only by Revell books.

  1. My favorite saying that my daddy always said was this, "God made dirt and Dirt don't hurt!" ROFL! Another is, "She'll get over it before she gets married" (speaking of a child of course!).
