The Rossi family is at it again, being loud and boisterous and now there are even more family members to join in. Family from Italy have flown in for Laz and Rosa's wedding, an old family friend, Uncle Sal is there too. It is loud, it is fun and it is a big band party.
Laz and Rosa are having a big band wedding, and Bella is working overtime to pull it all off, struggling to find a band, Uncle Laz helps by finding one on the internet, made up of senior citizens. They are magnificent and turns out the leader actually knew Uncle Sal, and Uncle Laz back in the day.
The wedding finally goes off, but certainly it had its hitches, in fact it looked like it wouldn't take place, but much prayer, great swing music and family pulled it all together again. Now Bella is determined to give her own wedding her full attention. The only thing is, she is being pulled a thousand different ways, he sister got engaged at Laz and Rosa's wedding, Gordy and Lily from the band got engaged too, her brother Joey who has been engaged, they all are wanting to plan their weddings and Bella is going non stop. A collapse and a few days in the hospital convince her she has to slow down.
Will her wedding be perfect, just as she has planned since she was a little girl? Who will take care of things that need to be done while she is in the hospital?
A wonderfully fast paced, great story, full of the same quirky characters we have come to love in the Weddings by Bella series. Another book that gives you the impression that we are all missing something great by not being a part of the Rossi family. Janice Thompson has given us another wonderful book. 330 pages, US $14.99 5 stars
