Crossroads Crisis Center Book One

Fiction/Suspense/Mystery

Reviewed by Cindy Loven

A beautiful young woman is found beaten in the woods near the small town of Seagrove Village Florida. She has no clue who she is, with the exception that she found a card in her pocket with the name Susan written on it.  The other side has an address for the Crossroads Crisis Center.  Upon entering the center, she sees a picture of Susan Brandt.  The resemblance is eerie, is she Susan?  The director of the center is positive she is not, because Susan was murdered, why then is she wearing a necklace that was Susan's?
There is something sinister going on, once Susan/Karen (the name she chooses to call herself) arrives, scary things start happening.  A bomb is thrown through the front glass of the center.  Someone breaches the security at Ben Brandt's (Susan's husband) estate.  The same night someone tries to kill her by shooting into the bed they assume she is sleeping in.  What is going on and why?  Who is she and where did she come from?  All of these questions must be answered before innocent people die protecting her.
A novel that will catch your attention and have you on edge wondering what is going to happen next.  Vicki Hinze has captured the attention of her reader and twists an ominous tale that will delight the reader.  Most definitely a book to share with your friends.  336 pages.$13.99 US 5 stars

  1. Nicely reviewed. Came to your site while looking for reviews on the books that we are looking forward to keep in our office library.

Being an avid reader, I think the world of books is the most remarkable creation of man. Nothing else that he builds ever lasts except books. In their world, there are volumes that have seen this happen again and again and yet live on, still young, still as fresh as the day they were written, still telling men's hearts of the heart of men centuries dead.
