Allon, an imaginary kingdom where good has been dominated by the Dark Way for hundreds of years.  However, prophesy is being fulfilled and a good and righteous king is being prepared to face the evil king and the evil Guardians who are controlling this king. 
Ellis a young orphan raised in a home as a son of the man who found him, is surprised to find out he is the heir to the throne of Allon.  Barely escaping with his life, he is taken in by an old knight and trained in the ways he should go.  He is trained for battle, he is trained in the scriptures and prophesies, he is trained in wisdom, every area of his training is covered and he begins his testing to make sure he is a worthy heir to the throne. 
A genre I rarely read, as I am not a fantasy fan, I have to say this book was enjoyable, it took me a bit to get into it, but once in, I read it till the finish.  287 pages $13.99 US 4 stars
